Thousand Oaks Tea Party-9/12 Patriots. We are a nonpartisan group representing Constitutionally-limited government, fiscal responsibility and free markets. We oppose corruption, wasteful spending, raising taxes, and the undue influence of special interests in the government designed by our Founders to be Of the People, By the People, and For the People.
We support the 9-12 Project’s twelve values: Honesty, Reverence, Hope, Thrift, Humility, Charity, Sincerity, Moderation, Hard Work, Courage, Personal Responsibility and Courage.
We oppose governments’ unsustainable level of spending and the deficits it is creating, whether from bailouts, stimulus packages, “jobs” bills, government-run healthcare, or entitlements.
We want to reverse the recently-passed ObamaCare bill and its unconstitutional mandates on our state.
We oppose any cap & trade legislation or its back-door EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations based on CO2 being declared a “pollutant.”
We support auditing the Federal Reserve, just as any big corporation is audited.
We oppose any form of Amnesty for illegal aliens. Existing laws should be enforced.
We oppose government intrusion into our lives. We want to drastically reduce the size of government in order to stop it from stealing money from our children and grandchildren by way of taxation and debt.
Tea Parties are still here and they’re growing! Their effectiveness was demonstrated with the victory of Scott Brown in Massachusetts. Just as the original Tea Party in Boston Harbor in 1773, we oppose taxation without representation — our elected Representatives no longer listen to us!
Please note: We will allow no hate or radical behavior.
