We’ll work to reduce wasteful spending in our City & County governments, keeping a careful eye out for fraud and unconstitutional measures.  We’ll hold bi-weekly meetings to discuss our discoveries and concerns.  We’ll attend public meetings in every city, take notes, post our concerns, and invite officials to attend our meetings.  Please start collecting items that concern you.

(5)  Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” Rally –  D.C. – Lincoln Memorial
Surely an historic event!      Info:
Several of us are attending.

(6)  TeaPartyPatriots’ “Repeal, Replace, Restore” Rally – 10-noon – DC’s Upper Senate Park
Because many Tea Partiers at Glenn Beck’s Rally won’t remain in DC for the 9/12 Rally, they’ll join together here before returning home.   For more details:

(7)  Call your Congressman to see if he/she is having a Town Hall during August Recess
We want to publicize any Town Halls so we can pack them with our people.  (Congressman Gallegly had his Town Hall in July so he won’t have one in August.)

(8)  One Year Anniversary of the 2009  “9-12″ Rally in DC
TeaPartyPartiots is having rallies at two other venues:  Sacramento & St. Louis. Speakers! Entertainment! Booths!

This date is strategically placed before absentee ballots are mailed.  Candidates and our members loved our May 20 Forum before the Primary Election; this time we’ll have more space in the Sanctuary.

(10)  Constitution Day, Sept. 17 – 2004 law mandates Constitution be taught in schools.  This is an opportunity for us to contact local schools and ask how they will teach the Constitution during Constitution Week, Sept. 17-23.  We can promote a Contest for students to describe what the Constitution means to them.  Shall we have trophies?  We’ll give a pocket Constitution to all participants.
Your ideas are welcome.
